THIS VERY BEAUTIFUL Antique American Sterling Silver Serving Bowl is one to treasure! This very large Serving Bowl has impressive 11" (27.8 cm) diameter and 2.7" (7 cm) deep, perfect for fruits, bread, or pastry serving, and extremely versatile as well.
This very large Serving Bowl is wholly made of .925 Sterling Silver, having uniquely shaped fluted bowl, lavishly embellished with raised flora & scroll decoration on the rim. The centre of the bowl bears intricate interlaced monogram, probably AY (look closely, it's a little puzzling but slowly makes sense.)
Hallmarked STERLING to guarantee 925/1000 purity solid sterling silver. Serial number 675. Maker's stamp BAILEY, BANKS & BIDDLE CO., PHILADELPHIA. Other symbol mark in oblong shape.
Very good condition and ready to grace your table. A special find for you! Don't miss out!
