Delighted to have for sale this boldly fabulous Mid 19C Imperial Russian Solid 84 Silver Niello Men's Vesta Case or Match Safe with beautifully bold Niello decoration. The Vesta Case is in a shape of a traditional shoe with pointed tip. It is finely decorated with gorgeous Niello pattern on textured background, depicting foliage scroll and decorative inscriptions. The striker on the sole. Hallmarks and hand-engraved inscription are on the reverse side of the lid, marked a souvenir "Tiflis 1851."
Hallmarked Russian silver mark of 84, which corresponds to 84 zolotnik, 875/1000 purity solid silver. City mark with year 1851.

Very Good Estate Condition with minor sign of light use. The lid is slightly loose and can't to close it properly (you must push hard to close it.) Otherwise in quite excellent condition. Please refer the detail photos I added.
