This is a very beautiful and impressively large Antique German Bronze "Judenstern" Hanging Shabbat Lampfrom 19th Century for synagogues.
It consists of an intricate baluster centre stem with 8 branched star, 8 detachable candle holders and 6 detachable decorative "flowers." It completed with a deeply suspended drip bowl called Godet. Top of baluster stem has a shape of crown, with fleur-de-lys decoration.
Measurements & Condition
29 inc (74.5 cm) tall x 18.5 inch (47 cm) wide between detachable candle holders.
Judenstern (8 branched star) 13 inch (33 cm) diameter.
Weight 12 kilograms.
Very Good Estate Condition with minor signs of light use. The crown on the top is not perfectly round. Three of detachable branches have a small crack or sign of old repair, though they are perfectly functional for display and use. Please refer the detail photos we added.
