Offered for your consideration is a very beautiful Antique French Sterling Silver Serving Ladle, finely crafted by renown Parisian master silversmith Henri Soufflot, active 1884-1910. The Ladle is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity, measures very practical and versatile 8.3" (21cm) long. It embellished with ornate Rococo or Louis XV style decoration, including scrolls, foliage accents and rocaille scallop motifs. A very large Rococo style cartouche is remain free from personalisation. Excellent condition as one could hope to find and ready to grace your table.

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 mark to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the highest standard of silver, purer than usual .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark of Henri Soufflot, 89 rue Turbigo, active 1884 till 1910.
