YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS this very lovely and beautiful Antique German Solid 800 Silver Milk/Creamer Pot & Sugar Bowl Set by Binder Wilhelm-Schwabisch Gmund, established in 1869, in excellent condition. This matching set has classical Art Nouveau style decoration with cyclamen. The design with a large up-side-down-heart shaped cartouche is bold and eye-catching. The technique used to create the pattern is called Repoussé (embossed.) A sheet of silver is heated and the pattern raised from the reverse side using various type and different shape of tools. It is done by hand and difficult to master. The interior has gorgeous Vermeil gilt finish. A lovely 1 to 2 person size. Excellent condition and ready to grace your table.

Hallmarked German solid silver guarantee Moon and Crown mark. 800 mark to indicate 800/1000 silver contents. Maker's mark of Binder Wilhelm-Schwabisch Gmund, established in 1869. Serial number 15951 for Sugar Bowl, 15952 for Milk/Creamer Pot. P in a crest.
