Offered for your consideration is this fabulous Antique German Gilt Bronze "Judenstern" Hanging Shabbat Lamp from mid 19th Century (possibly Polish.) Intricate baluster stem with 6 branches star-shaped oil container and 6 removable oil-drippers, completed with deep suspended drip bowl (Godet). This style of Judenstern is rare to find today. It appears often times in the works of Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, a famous painter from mid 19th Century.
Measurements & Condition
22 inch (56 cm) long x 11 inch (28 cm) diameter. Weight 169 oz (4.8 kg.)
