This gorgeous Asparagus Server have very unique and highly decorative design, of intricate Rococo style motifs on thoughtful composition on BOTH SIDE of one of the stem. Very large blades are also unique, one is plain oval shape with fluted surface, another is finely pieced and having elaborate Rococo decoration. As handsome as useful, this large Asparagus Server is extremely versatile, perfect for almost any meal; dessert, pastry, or meat/fish.
Hallmarked German Moon & Crown mark to guarantee solid silver. "835" for .835 silver contents (higher quality than standard 800 German silver.) Maker's mark of J.D. Schleissner & Söhne. The firm was established in 1817. Other unknown mark with initial TV.
