A VERY BEAUTIFUL Vintage Miniature Soviet Russian Gilt Sterling Silver Pill Case / Snuff Box with elegant enamel cloisonné decoration. The outer surface is finely decorated with deep wine red translucent enamel and milk white polychrome enamel, set against delicately striped silver background. The interior has gorgeous Vermeil gilt finish (gold-washed over sterling silver.) Excellent condition.
Hallmarked Soviet Russian mark of post 1958 with number 925, which guarantees at least .925 purity of solid sterling silver. Another maker's mark of city mark, we could not find the reference.
